Anyone not yet on the America-overdue-for-judgment train ought to reserve some time for this Francis Chan video from October 8, 2006 (below). I know it’s long; eternity is longer. I know it’s convicting; if it weren’t, it wouldn’t be worth it.
If you’re even able to see this — i.e., if you have electricity and a computer — then by definition, the investment will pay off far better for you than whatever else you were thinking of doing. (Give it ten minutes; you’ll see what I mean.)
Chan has a lot of good sermons. Very convicting. I have always thought something was missing, like something was not being taught in the church.
This has made me read my Bible in a whole new light. I am really trying to remove the boundaries that have been built around the word of God.
I also am learning about living life in light of eternity. I have a long way to go, but praise God I think I am striving in the right direction.

Yes i agree with the above comment but Prophecy isn’t for the faint-hearted but is proof of God keeping his promises and Jesus CHrist is the Spirit of Prophecy. I did not say Drudge was a prophet and nor am I but Prophecy is biblical but often misunderstood nevertheless it has its place or i doubt God would have included it in the bible.

Another interesting event going on :the daughter of Krakatoa called Anak Krakatau is very active. Kind of funny after Venus had a bright spot in the south polar region the very same day as Jupiter’s mysterious impact on its south polar region. Venus has volcanic activity quite a bit but not usually in that area. The name of that volcano is very interesting considering the ten toes prophecy. Maybe its coincidental though. In the past the mother volcano killed 38,000 people mostly by tsunamil so I wonder if this might be how Damascus is devastated. I think this is when Israel gets enlarged as a country and experiences great wealth. ?????

NUCLEAR Russian subs off our East Coast. There is also a story about Hezbollah having rockets (40,000) on border on Drudge report and on WND another story about Netanyahu’s party saying Fatah’s calls to resistance a Declaration of war.
Last week Russian and Iran were practicing search and rescue/pollution maneuvers in the Caspian Sea and I think it was yesterday Iran was moving warships to the Gulf of Aden.

I’m checking in on you more and more regularly. Especially love the openness with which those here admit their imperfections (“poor in spirit”). There is a lot of God seen here. You have a ministry in this. Thank you.
Speaking of Real Hope and its prerequisite, here is a little something that came to me back in February…
Our Creator’s Truth applies at all levels – to the world, to nations, and to individuals. Turning away from Him and His Truth, whether as individuals or as a nation, is apostasy (a turning away from or abandonment of faith or principles). Apostasy, at whatever level, will always eventually be dealt with as He sees fit. Individual reckoning is underway at every moment, everywhere (“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.” Heb 4:13). Many of us are experiencing the overwhelming sense that a national, if not cosmic reckoning may not be far away.
The warning of history and revelation, so oft-repeated, stands:
“I will go away and return to My place
Until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face;
In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.” (Hosea 5:15)
Thankfully, as Hosea also proclaimed to an unrepentant Israel, the promise of reconciliation also stands:
“Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us;
he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.
After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence.
Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth.” (6:1-3)
The Creator’s Nature will always stand as creation’s only Real Hope.
