In the comments thread to my last post, it was noted (thanks, Jo!) that the Illinois lottery numbers picked the day after the election last November were ’666′ and ’7779′. This is old news, but worth remembering.
The first bit should be obvious. And for those who’ve done their homework and seen the original scroll fragment suggesting the ‘real’ number is 616, that’s covered too, as ‘hopeful watcher’ noted, 61616 is the zip of BHO’s Chicago campaign headquarters.
The ’777′ bit is also obvious. Sevens appear throughout scripture in reference to completeness (though not always in a good way). Threes are usually associated with the divine. Three sevens basically means that God is completing — or about to complete — something.
But the nine kinda just hung there. What to make of it?
So I was walking to Starbucks this morning here in the city where Sunny goes to school, catching up on my 66-40 podcasts from Chuck Missler as he approached the end of a great series on Hosea. Highly recommended, especially the August 6th broadcast which sums up a great deal of other material and clarifies some important terms (e.g., ‘antichrist’).
He draws many startling parallels between the U.S. now and the Northern Kingdom of Israel in Hosea’s time.
Here’s what hit me.
He noted that there were nine leaders of the Northern Kingdom before God said ‘enough’ and wiped them out. (The Southern Kingdom merely went into exile for seventy years).
So I’m thinking… BHO as the ultimate man of lawlessness — aka, the antichrist. BHO perceived as the ‘new’ Jack Kennedy (in some peoples’ minds). BHO as the (now largely dashed) culmination of those vain hopes. JFK, the first Catholic president, brutally assassinated… one of many things that ended an era of “In God We Trust” and helped to usher in a nihilistic God-denying generation now firmly in power throughout our society.
BHO as the head of a political ‘body’ of hopes came back to life. People marveling at the recovery of presidential hopes after what had seemed a fatal head wound. A great shifting of gears occurred on November 22, 1963 no matter what your politics. (Interesting that it was the same day one of the most effective Christian apologists of the 20th Century died — C.S. Lewis). Things were not the same after that (so I’m told — I was in diapers). Johnson just wasn’t the same. Not even close. A new era… hell breaking loose on earth — openly for awhile, then more subtly, corrosively.
…Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, Bush II…
BHO is number nine.
In Hosea’s time, leader number nine brought down God’s judgment after years of grace.

For the record (ha ha, couldn’t resist), that last link is NOT an admonition, recommendation, prescription or even a broad hint. In a democracy we debate stuff; we don’t ‘take people out’.
In the supernatural context however, a time-capsule straight from the heart of the ’60′s generation — the same people that brought you Helter Skelter and asked us to imagine there’s no heaven — it is rather eerie isn’t it?
UPDATE: I posted this about 90 minutes before news began to break of Ted Kennedy’s death late last night. I stand against virtually everything the man fought for politically, especially those things with the most direct Biblical connections (e.g., abortion and Israel), however if hell is what Jesus says it is, we should all pray for him. A quick read through Leviticus 19 (or the ten commandments) will highlight areas that ought to convict both God-minded liberals and conservatives. Though we have all been given a heart for justice to one degree or another, it (hell) is something one should not wish on one’s worst enemy or the worst log-in-his-eye-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah sinner. After losing my own brother, I felt just a bit more empathy for the man’s pain and his various responses to it.
If, as I noted above, one chapter in end-times American and world history opened with a fatal head wound (JFK; Rev 13:13), it’s at least of passing symbolic/prophetic interest that another appears to be closing with the death at age 77 of his brother via a different kind of head wound… slow, cancerous and deadly just like the moral cancer plaguing this country. May God rest his soul and may God have mercy on the nation we once both loved which, but for the final few acts seems like little more than a distant memory.
I was born in New Haven, Conn. so I know about Mass and Boston. I know the Cotuit crowd. I’m one of them to begin with. What I’m saying is that America is not that, and when polling time comes you get the surprising result that Arkansans think Obama is American by only 45 %. We’re talking POTUS here and saying he’s an illegal alien. If someone ignores the “writing on the wall” when it’s expressed so clearly, (I’m talking about Obama ignoring it and still refusing to produce ID and any data !) well don’t count on me to dig you out when you fall off the bandwagon. Obama’s closed coterie of cronies from Chicago will learn with regret what it means to try to pull a fast one on a big nation. They did the biggest heist in the world, something like Ocean’s Eleven, and got away with it. But the movie is over and the lights are coming on again.

No but what I mean is that there are issues with Obama and I doubt anyone ignores it by now. [Clearly you don't live in Massachusetts!! -ed.]
A recent poll said roughly half of the USA say they don’t think he’s American.
Then from there imagining an impeachment and emprisonning and death row, why not ! it’s no stretch of the mind to assert this is the biggest story the world has ever seen and ever will see.
So I come full circle and again, maybe repeating myself, say we must all stand in front of our reality and chose what is good and what is evil and no one even a god we may believe in, will chose for us.

tell me if I’m off-base, I speak about basic things like Jesus throwing the merchants out of the temple, which are moral questions of self-interest, using commerce to defraud people etc….I speak about the use of Obama as the world’s Lord to pay off those he uses and deprive his enemies of money by the gov spending programs etc….if you on this forum remain silent when I speak about the truth but pipe up when it’s about just quoting the Bible like parrots, then think twice…you’re on the wrong path, be careful because what counts is not for you to just quote quote away, but to think for yourselves and make the right choice between evil and good.

Ultra, can you look at the latter part of the explanation here. In the end of it, I bring up the Bible passage that “divine means alone can defeat the Antichrist, and bring the Apocalypse, not human means”. This is an answer de facto to what you posted to me: that nothing depended on *you* in things divine.
The number and mention of Âge 54 slipped into the previously sent post, that’s from U Tube’s pages: my age. It has nothing to do with the text or Obama. It looks confusing when I reviewed my post here.
Here’s the latter part of that explanation of Obama’s Marks of the Beast. Don’t mind the “militant” anti-Obama tone at times it was conceived as a kind of slogan’s page to harangue troops ! The Army of Truth ! (Which never materalised hahaha !) Actually I shouldn’t be negative, facebook is making daily polls about “Is Obama the Antichrist ?”
That was sure not the kind of thing I’d have been seeing when I made that page six months ago.

It means just to save oneself from the abyss. A lake is down and the mountain is up. It means you’re saved. Some people think the Apocalypse means you must take a survival rationning and go to a mountain. That’s all wrong. It’s a spiritual reality of understanding the meaning and being saved by that. Obamaists will lead good lives, but they will know the lake awaits them for the sin of loving the Antichrist. They’ll look like before but they’ll be dead spiritually. That’s all. Don’t worry about anything.
One last thing is this. In defeating the Antichrist Obama, another Bible passage is essential: “Human means will not defeat the Antichrist, only divine ones.”
So we see that a. one must use wisdom to understand the Marks and wisdom alone can understand them b. this wisdom’s key to opening these divine signs, the divine means which alone can defeat the Antichrist.”

I’m not smart enough to comment the Bible scripture quoted here.
I’ll just post the explanation I put on Internet for what it’s worth. You people who have devoted your lives and decades to Bible study just take it as it is, garbage or gold.
Please be so kind as to pick through it with patience and discard off-hand anything that doesn’t jell.
And tell me if anything was kept after all that, as being of any worth.

He must be proven to be impure, evil and corrupted.
So, undeniably the Marks of the Beast as prophecied by the Bible were drawn in a 24 hours span from Obama’s election.
How do men carry 666/777/9 on their hand and forehead. Idiots will get tatoos as a joke, because it’s beyond them to imagine it.
As often with great discoveries, it’s the simple thing which works, like Newton getting an apple on his head, or Archimedes crying “Eureka” upon entering his bathtub.
Here, we have the Lottery drawing three Biblical symbols. But the meaning is not in these numbers. It’s in the Lottery. The heavenly way was divinely subtle and precisely indicating the meaning. If one looks elsewhere I guarantee one will fall into the lake of fire and brimstone where Obama is headed. It is here and nowhere else. So I say “Eureka !” (meaning “I have found it !”).
What indeed, is the Lottery ? Heaven could have chosen any other method of revealing the Marks. It is craftily devised because not only is it striking but it is powerful. First it’s power comes from the Lottery being Statewide, and it being broadcast absolutely everywhre. Unless everone sees it extremely well, the lottery can face suits of winners who didn’t see the results and lost their gains. So that night the Marks of the Beast of Obama were broadcast in each TV set of the state again and again and again. I read a newspaper article from Illinois the next day where it said people in Illinois were astounded and worried.
Next thing is the meaning heaven gave by doing this and not something else. (Indeed, what other method could heaven have chosen to relay the Marks to the world ? None can compare to this, it’s genius…)

Ultraguy, I take a slightly different point of view. Satan tends to be so in your face about trying to make things obvious. He is subtle yes, but it tends to be right under your nose all along that people just drink the kool-aid without even thinking. Not only that, Satan seems to love scenarios that will force Christians to argue in such a way as to earn them scorn, ridicule and persecution. I will concede your point and for others though, that I entertain ‘how’ the mark will come out of curiosity. I will not say ANY scenario is THE one and argue for its merits, for that is a stumbling block. I have prayed for my spirit to side step speculation (I was getting rather sucked in by it in the past months) and just become a hopeful watcher.
In the end, the choice is clear no matter how the AC reveals himself; cling to your earthly possessions and safety and follow him or drop to your knees and pray for your salvation to God through the holy spirit in the son of God’s name, Jesus.
[Yes, yes, yes. God is multidimensional -- both plain and subtle. He paints in bold strokes and fine ones; flourescent colors and pastel hues; power chords and quiet notes. He works in and through everything -- through all of his Creation -- with extreme finesse always and the broadest possible range of styles, all consistent with Himself and his eternal character.
As you say though, because Satan has a much narrower toolkit of tactics at his disposal and far less knowledge and power as a created being, he must make desperate, crude, unsubtle and ultimately deceptive, illegal plays (think Jackson Pollock vs. Michaelangelo; Twisted Sister vs. Mozart). That's especially true with the clock ticking down to the buzzer.

IMO —-The 666 has nothing to do with the mark. It is the number of the mans name(or title). The mark is something that affects buying and selling(trademark). I think the mark will have to do with carbon footprint. (Who we serve) Climate control is a way to control nations to control its people. I hearken back to Jesus washing his disciples feet. Worship of the beast will have to do with who you worship. Each nation will have their method to mark but that could be just for receiving punishment for not worshipping their image or going along with the program. Thats my opinion. The seal of God has to do with who you believe and follow. Jesus said if you love me than why don’t you obey me.
But Satan is trying to confuse the masses so we don’t know which end is up and instill fear. He comes to steal and to kill. He uses flattery and money and power and distributes to those that go along. And food and water will be his other weapon. He won’t care about his own people either. They are just a means to an end. There is a covenant involved in his plans that he confirms with the many. But who are the many? ANd which covenant? I have done some research about the covenants. You guys ought to look up what the covenants might be. GOd has his covenants too. Whatever God covenant is will be definitely opposite to Satan’s because this is a war against God. FLesh vs Spirit. I hope this helps. I think it will be a time to test our mettle.
And it will culminate on and around Israel…Jerusalem.
WW2 is a good example of the type decisions we might have to make. Don’t you bet?

I don’t interpret the Bible as saying one must absolutely not DO ANYTHING when the news of the end of times comes.
I absolutely understand the OPPOSITE.
I get it like this. The Book of Daniel is famous. I says to leave everything no matter what it is and run. When ? When you hear the news of the Apocalypse.
I’ll get to my point in a little here.
I’m not saying I’m a specialist in scripture far from it. I’m saying that in my understanding things aren’t caught up in this or that, in details or heavy quoting which I see all the time on countless blogs.
I’m going to get to my point.
I’m saying that among all the blogs round about, this one is the only one i’ve seen that is about the subject of the Illinois Lottery Marks of the Beast.
Incidentally, I note that you don’t expressedly say that the Bible says these numbers are the Marks of the Beast. You could. That’s what the Bible says. Is that a problem ?
Now to the point. Daniel says to “run” when you hear the news of the Apocalypse. Now the Apocalypse is not clear what is, how is and when is. everyone agrees on this.
Now I’m gonna give a corn-farmer’s assessment of it.
It’s NOW. Why ?
Coz we got them Marks of the Beast fell frm heaven and we doggone gotta run folks.
I mean we have to take the kid gloves off and realize that heaven has cleared away the clouds and spoken very directly to us saying this “Election day for Obama, I’ll send you a sign that he’s the Antichrist which i’ll designate by the Marks of the Beast.”
Now to finish up this, I’ll add one vital thing.
The Marks designate a man, the Bible specifies that.
There is an unholy trinity made up of
1. the First Beast which is the Antichrist which we must reveal in the Apocalypse and the Revelation of that Antichrist.
2. the Second Beast which deceives in favour of that first Beast. Obama is the two to me, beyond any doubt. He has hidden the First Beast, his past, deceitfully; and makes it up into a fairy tale which his followers are crazy about and adore.
It’s the Bible’s spitting image. The whole “birth issue” matter is all part of revealing the Antichrist, which is the muck underneath. The Bible says all things hidden will be revealed in the Apocalypse.
Obama’s deceit will be revealed in nitty gritty detail and we’ll see how he made the fake certificate but also “Is his dad really so. Where was he actually born.? In what year ?”
Now that Obama is the Antichrist clearly defined well the unholy third part of the trinity is Satan, of course.
I’ve kind of started talking about the details here so please all pitch in now. I’ll be sending the meaning of those Marks shortly.

hi, this forum is all important
this is the only place I know of where the marks of the beast and the illinois lottery numbers are discussed.
[Uh oh... If this depends on me then we're really in trouble. Keep in mind that these things are only a means to understanding one piece of the puzzle and that that puzzle will eventually resolve into ONE KEY THING: Jesus' death on a cross for us and his returning just as he said he would. Once he does that, all the rest of this is just so much memory. -ed.]

Just a note about barcodes: I was reading recently of hospitals (including the Detroit Medical Center) that uses barcodes and scanning technology to track patients and their procedures.
[I have a feeling (and it's only that), that barcodes are a red herring. I've worked with them in my professional life for some time and they are, almost literally, everywhere. It's been such a well-known meme around the mark of the beast that I can't quite see anyone going for it. But I may be surprised... -ed.]

This storm heading to the NE I believe could be a ‘precursor’ to the “storm of the LORD” of Jeremiah 23:19-20 and Jeremiah 30:23-24.
God is very clear and tells us to “understand” its coming in the ‘last days’, even opening each verse with the word ‘Behold’!
This storm of Jeremiah will manifest itself as the “destroying storm” of Isaiah 28:2.
It is ‘not a stretch’ of the imagination that it could come upon us during the ’10 days of Awe’!
These days will fall between September 19, Rosh Hashanah and September 28, Yom Kippur this year.
What puts this within the “stretch” is that BHO plans to hold a news conference either in New York on September 23 or at the G20 summit in Pittsburgh the 24th in order to announce his “breakthrough” of resuming “peace TALKS”, think 1 Thessalonions 5:3
He will be flanked by Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Arab leaders.
Obama is also hoping that a FINAL peace agreement can be negotiated within two years, the Guardian said.

This September 23rd announcement is interesting because 23 Arab nations have already approved the ‘Saudi Initiative’ on Passover of all days in March 28, 2002.

Regarding the much ballyhooed 6-6-6 reference; there’s a level that many tend to miss that is actually right under everyone’s nose. John the Apostle wrote both the Apocalypse and the Gospel.
I draw your attention to his Gospel specifically Chapter 6, Verse 66. It is right after the “Bread of Life” discourse and after Jesus states that His flesh is true food and His blood is true drink. It is the foundation of the Eucharist.
John 6:66 — “As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore.”
The doctrine that MANY even to this day find a stumbling block provides the backdrop for the ultimate meaning of what it is to be “anti-Christ”. It is to walk with Him no more. Something to think about.
[Chapter breaks and verse numbers weren't introduced until around the 13th century but that fact makes it more fascinating, not less. Only an omnipotent God with a perfect sense of timing would be able to render such a reference completely useless for 1200 years AND know just how and when it would come in handy. -ed.]

This is probably OT: Regarding the growing belief that AC will come out of Islam: We too often forget that the Ottoman Empire filled the space vacated by the Eastern leg of the old Roman Empire. I don’t know if BHO is AC, but he is definitely of the type that will point us to the scriptures to study and compare. His childhood roots come out of the defunct Eastern leg, now a stronghold of Islam.
Also, regarding Ted Kennedy, as mentioned above, we can only pray that this is the end of ‘Camelot Catholicism’, a social religion without the burning love and devotion toward our Christ and the Cross. However, Pelosi et al are still standard bearers.
We continue to cling to OUR Hope and Life: Jesus our Lord. Omens portend that we need to cling fervently to our Lord as events unfold before our eyes.

The abomination of desolation you mentioned in a previous post was referred to by Matthew, who also points to Daniel the Prophet. This Kennedy CHURCH Funeral could qualify for such a title.
IMHO there are just too many weird and eerie things about the Kennedy/Obama/ Hurricane Danny (AKA – DANIEL) thing going on here. Isn’t it weird the possible Antichrist was nearby in the Vineyard (Martha’s) when Kennedy, an off the rails Catholic passed? In the vineyard….!

[I'm glad other people are thinking this week, because I totally missed this stuff. Yeah, AFAIK, living near there (outside Boston), Daniel could be the first hurricane-force storm to hit our area in several decades. AFAIK, Daniel is the only prophet which Jesus mentions specifically by name in the NT... not 100% on that and don't have time to look it up at the moment.
I was also noting yesterday, on another Chuck Missler podcast, that it was right around the dawn of 'Camelot' (early Kennedy administration) when the Supreme Court banned prayer in public schools. I can not condemn the man (Dead Ted) for I have not the power. He was what he was and only God knows his soul. Like his brothers, he was a bootleggers son. He was the son of a Hitler supporter and the son of a man who would stop at nothing to pursue power for power’s sake. The fact that two older brothers have been made political idols, sways me not. He was flawed as we are all flawed and for that he receives as much forgiveness as he forgave (as the prayer goes). Again, that is God’s department.
I hope for only one thing in his after life… Mary Jo gets the answer to WHY? I hope all the ABORTED babies directly and indirectly caused by his political gumption get the answer to WHY?

Some very curious references in Revelations (its always the odd ones that people skim, but I stop and ask why) is continued references to swords. Obviously swords are not common weapons now, but John (through what was told to him by the Lord) distinguishes between swords with one cutting edge against swords with two cutting edges. Well, I don’t believe in pitting religions against one another. I believe ALL people of faith can be saved, but that is by one path through Jesus, NOT by watering down all our religions to find a “civil” way to find common ground. That is Satan’s deception to appeal to our greater sense of compassion to include others and to do that we would have to give up the way of Christ. Ain’t gonna happen, but I digress.
So the two swords, one cutting edge is like the Saber or an Arabic sword and the two cutting edge is like the traditional broad sword, where when stuck in the ground makes a cross. Just some odd imagery that I found interesting.
Lastly, and this is WAY old conspiracy news, but one I cling to, I believe the eventual mark of the beast… the one that everyone will be forced to take to perform financial transactions will a tattooed bar code on your hand or forehead for enemies of the state/prisoners who might be inclined to cut their hand off. This one has been around a long time and may make me appear like a total whack job, but I hold firm to it. 61616 could be construed as 6 space 6 space 6, or 666. It is also said that the number is three consecutive 6′s and not six hundred and sixty six. That is important. In case you are not familiar with the old conspiracy theory, there is the number 6-6-6 in EVERY bar code. These are the beginning, middle and end stop codes. They are utilized for the scanners to function properly in either direction and were not designed to be numbers, but they hold the same form as the numeric ’6′.
This makes perfect sense to me. People are talking about microchips, but frankly I don’t think that is scalable enough for a whole population. Lidocain on the hand and a device to auto-tattoo the bar code and you could have a pain free mark in about 30 seconds. Just about every store in the modern world now carries bar code scanners, not RFI scanners required for microchips. A tattoo also is more of a “mark” than a chip under the skin.

It patents a tattoo bar code using invisible ink. See, this would be very palatable for the public, you wouldn’t even have to see the mark. Also take into consideration that the universal health care bill and the promised Government Health Database that will hold all of our medical records. Its easy to make a database that holds information, but you have to associate that record with a person. No government official or policy talks about how that is POSSIBLE. Certainly not SS#, since that only covers those on that system. Finger print scan, retinal scan are all possible but not particularly feasible. No, I think it would tie into the mark of the beast. You can make a mark work for financial transactions, you can use the same mark to identify patients.
Hear ye, hear ye…. come and get your pain free, invisible tattoo to help the CDC identify you so we can give you the Swine Flu vaccination, and oh yeah the dollar tanked so now all currency is electronic. Get your mark or you won’t be able to buy food either. A scared, hungry populace could be made to do almost anything.

One source I looked at conjectured that it could be a simple as money... using paper bills backed by a worthless promise from a government that does not really trust in God like the tokens say. Doesn't work for left-handers, but a broad interpretation could bring in the frontal lobe of the brain. (E.g., is anyone you know fixated on visions of money? Where does your attention/worship go when you see a $20 bill on the sidewalk?)

Regarding BHO’s likely candidacy for AC (-I had never really considered before that the AC might be a muslim and there is no doubt after listening to recent speeches by the president that he is indeed a muslim.) I just finished watching a video by Wahlid Shoebat, former muslim, now Christian, he says that the greek letters for 666 are the exact representation of Islamic “crossed swords” and “In the name of Allah” – check it out, I think he may have something there!
[Shoebat is also a clarion voice regarding islam in the end times, pointing out that every nation singled out for destruction by Jesus himself at the very end is, today, a muslim country.
That said...
Over and over again in the OT, the enemies of God are used to do His work in punishing Israel so they will turn back to Him. I suspect that will be the case with America and her muslim enemies.
Re. BHO and islam, I don't care anymore if he "is" a muslim. Reasonable (and unreasonable) people could go round and round on the meaning of "is" -- and they have.
